🐎 Why choose this product?
A boot protector covers the inside of the hind fetlock, where a horse can strike itself when landing after a jump. It is worn during work, never in the field or stable. On a pony ridden by a child, the hind leg makes contact in exactly the same way as on a horse: the protection is the same, scaled to fit.
🧴 Care instructions
⚠️ This model has elastic hook-and-loop fasteners, which are not permitted by FEI regulations for hind-leg protection. Check the current national regulations for your discipline before using it in competition. Fit it on a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing the inside of the fetlock and the fasteners directed backward and outward. Tighten it so that one finger can fit between the protection and the leg. ⚠️ Remove them immediately after the end of the session. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry. Regularly check the condition of the hook-and-loop fasteners, as these are the first component to fail.
