Compared with a sheepskin noseband cover, neoprene requires much less maintenance: poorly washed sheepskin becomes abrasive, whereas this cover can go in the washing machine. The trade-off is that it is less breathable — best reserved for training sessions rather than prolonged wear.

⚠️ Add the noseband cover, then check the adjustment again: its thickness tightens the noseband, so you will often need to loosen it by one hole. Lay it flat, without any creases — a crease in the neoprene can cause more injury than a bare noseband.
