🐎 Why choose this product?
The impact zone is positioned exactly where the opposite foreleg strikes, while the anatomical notch at the top prevents the edge from pinching the knee when flexed. A tendon boot covers the back of the cannon bone, where the hind leg or other foreleg may strike. It should be worn during work only, never in the field or stall: continuous wear makes the tendon sweat and weakens it instead of protecting it.
🧴 Instructions for use
The Shetland size has only one hook-and-loop fastener; all other sizes have two. Place it on a clean, dry leg, with the shell facing outward and the fasteners toward the back and directed outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the boot and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them immediately after the session. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator: the neoprene will harden. Regularly check the condition of the hook-and-loop fasteners, as these are the first components to fail.
