What sets the Norwich apart is its 8 mm nylon cord ends. Their smooth surface slides through the bit rings much better than flat leather: the action is applied and released clearly, without jerking.
The section held by the rider is made of supple 18 mm leather. The cords attach to the girth with snap hooks, and a leather girth loop with a D-ring is supplied for girths without one — with an additional protective flap for the ring. Chrome-plated brass buckles with a silver finish.

🐎 Why choose this product?
German reins that catch in the rings do not release when the horse yields: the reward does not come, and the horse stops seeking. The nylon cord’s smooth movement is therefore much more than a comfort detail — it is what makes the training aid clear to the horse.
🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ German reins require educated hands: if used incorrectly, they pull the nose behind the vertical. Always adjust them too loose before making them too short, get assistance with the first adjustment, and never leave a horse wearing training reins unsupervised. Rinse the nylon cord and maintain the leather with glycerin soap.
Composition: nylon, leather, chrome-plated brass.
