Colored keepers distributed along the entire length: the hand can see where it is, and the rider can adjust the rein length independently.
This is the best teaching tool in the range. With an ordinary rein, telling a rider “shorten by ten centimeters” means nothing; with colored keepers, you say “hand on the blue one,” and everyone understands, even from the center of the arena. There are plenty of markers—nine for Shetland, twelve for ponies, and thirteen for horses—allowing for fine adjustment. Rubber woven into the webbing provides grip.
