Soft leather is Kavalkade’s specialty. The girth is built around a nylon core that gives it structure, wrapped in foam that absorbs shocks, and covered with very soft leather. The result: a girth that follows the horse’s movement instead of restricting it, and that does not become stiff over time. Short version of the Comfort: the same wide chest plate and the same anatomical design that clears the elbows, designed for a saddle with long girth straps. Elastic on both sides.

On a dressage saddle, a short girth allows the girth straps to work beneath the flap. With a wide chest plate, you gain comfort without changing saddles.
🧴 Care instructions
Remove mud and sweat with a damp cloth after each ride, then condition the leather with glycerin soap once or twice a month. Leave it to dry flat, away from a heat source: leather that is dried too quickly becomes stiff and loses its softness.
