Short girth in black cotton fabric Special Mattès shape, color black sheepskin

 Design

  • Removable cover in genuine lambskin with rolled edges to prevent chafing
  • Finish cotton, Poly-FLex padding ensuring pressure distribution
  • Elastics to facilitate girthing and horse comfort
  • Spring-mounted buckles in stainless steel
  • Rings for training aids in stainless steel

Girth shape:

  • the special girths are suitable for Icelandic horses, ponies, small Arabian mares, and horses with similar body types.
  • These girths were specially developed in cooperation with riders for use on horses with narrow chests, small horses and/or those with short backs and very rounded rib cages.
  • Due to its slightly curved cut, the girth is suited for this type of horse and prevents the girth from slipping forward in the elbow's mobility area.
  • Due to the short distance between the two front legs, these girths do not have a widened central piece, which prevents movement restriction.

Use:

  • To make drying easier and to match your sets, Mattès created the girth with a removable lambskin cover.

Delivery:

  • Dimensions are measured from buckle to buckle

Care:

  • Brush after use once dry
  • Wash with MELP special detergent
