Fitting options
This saddle is ordered with its options: they are added to the displayed price and confirmed with you before production begins. Prices are based on the current Passier price list. If a term is unfamiliar, our saddle anatomy page names every part, with an accompanying diagram.
- “The Lifter” panels (083) — no extra charge: for a high wither and a dipped back; shorter and rounded at the back, it quickly clears the back and cannot press on it
- frt-System® (051) — €440: anatomical pommel plate extensions that free the shoulder during movement; Passier recommends combining it with front panel gussets (043)
- 15° open cantle (054) — €330: more room and freedom in the saddle with the same seat size; on a short-backed horse, it allows you to go down one seat size
- Freedom of Movement Panel (048) — €280: developed with instructor Eberhard Weiß, including a widened pommel plate; the trapezius can expand freely
- Widened pommel plate (080) — €140: for horses with high, broad withers; it simplifies saddle fitting
- Front panel gussets (043) — €100: more panel volume at the front, to fill hollows behind the shoulder
- Queen Special Feature (081) — €70: a recess at the front of the tree, beneath the seat, that provides lasting relief for the pelvis
- Additional girth straps with widened buckle guard (041) — €70
- Saddle handle (062) — €29
Covering and finishes: Deluxe-covered flaps (088, €660), covered large and small flaps (053, €450), Natural Grip leather flaps (087, €230), special-design blocks (089, €230), Velcro blocks (055, €150), cantle in a design variation with Premium Crystals (057, €250) or without (056, €130). Any other customisation — stitching colour, raised lacquered topstitching, two-tone design… — is subject to a €50 design fee (992).
Premium Crystals (059) — €12 each: Clear Crystal, Colorado Topaz, Silver Night, Rosé, Siam Red or Emerald Green, in 4.2 mm, 6.2 mm or 7.2 mm. The smallest size is available only in Clear Crystal and Colorado Topaz.
A saddle made for your horse
This saddle is made to order. When your order is confirmed, we will check with you the seat size, tree width (adjustable in 0.5 cm increments, from 24 to 32 cm on this wood-and-leather tree) and colour. Allow approximately two months for production. PS-tree saddles ordered from 1st September 2026 onwards are supplied as standard with the new Superior leather on the seat and blocks.
Have your horse’s back measured: Passier fits each saddle to individual measurements. Our measurement guide explains step by step how to take a wire tracing of the back, which three photos to provide and the form to print.
