The silicone print does the job usually performed by a gel half pad: it holds the saddle in place through friction without adding bulk beneath the panels.
🧴 Care and use
Pull the pad up into the saddle's gullet before girthing up to clear the withers: a pad stretched over the spinous processes presses exactly where it should not. Brush it when dry after each session and wash it regularly — it is sweat salt, not the fabric, that irritates the skin. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener: it clogs the fibres that regulate moisture.
