Felt behaves differently from foam: it compresses less quickly and distributes the load across the entire surface. It is the traditional filling, and it lasts over time.
🧴 Care instructions
Pull the pad up into the saddle's gullet before girthing up to clear the withers: a pad stretched over the spinous processes presses exactly where it should not. Brush it dry after each session and wash it regularly — it is salt from sweat, not the fabric, that irritates the skin. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener: it clogs the fibres that regulate moisture.
