A saddle pad with an integrated shock absorber avoids layering two thicknesses under the saddle, each with its own folds and edges. The spinal cutout prevents the layers from closing the gullet.
🧴 Usage tips
Pull the pad up into the saddle's gullet before girthing, to clear the withers: a pad stretched over the dorsal processes presses exactly where it should not. Brush it when dry after each session and wash it regularly — it is salt from perspiration, not the fabric, that irritates the skin. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener: it clogs the fibres that regulate moisture.
