🧴 Care and use
Pull the pad up into the saddle’s gullet before girthing up to clear the withers: a pad stretched over the spinous processes presses exactly where it should not. Brush it while dry after each session and wash it regularly — it is salt from perspiration, not the fabric, that irritates the skin. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener: it clogs the fibers that regulate moisture.
