Open at the poll to relieve pressure on the atlas.
Kavalkade’s Cre8 system lets you build your bridle piece by piece: a headpiece, bit cheekpieces, noseband, browband, and reins, all chosen separately. You can then assemble a bridle that is truly suited to your horse instead of having to accept the dimensions of a ready-made set. The Malou is open at the top of the poll: a central cutout leaves the atlas—the first cervical vertebra—without direct pressure, distributing the load on either side. Soft leather, anatomical design, bevelled throatlash.

🐎 Why choose this product?
The atlas lies just beneath the skin, with no muscle to cushion it. A headpiece that avoids it is the best solution possible for this area.
🧴 Care instructions
Wipe with a damp cloth after every ride to remove sweat and dust, then condition the leather with glycerine soap once or twice a month. Leave it to dry flat, away from a radiator: leather that dries too quickly becomes hard and cracks at the fold.
Composition
92% leather, 5% stainless steel, 3% PU foam.
