Its titanium-plated fixed blade works with a ceramic moving blade: ceramic wears slowly and generates little heat, which matters twice as much on areas where the skin is thin and you need to go over the same spot several times. A rotating ring adjusts the cutting height from 0.8 to 2 mm, while four comb attachments extend the range to 3, 6, 9, and 12 mm. It runs on rechargeable Ni-MH batteries and is also suitable for grooming dogs.
